What must be on the calendar
If it should appear on the timesheet, it needs a timed event first. After-the-fact honesty is allowed; silent fiction is not. All-day banners are weak proxies for hours.
Billable vs non-billable is your job

Words I avoid on purpose
I try not to say “automatic timesheet” even when the export is excellent. Automatic implies no judgment. “Draft from my calendar, reviewed before send” is less sexy and more true.
