Detail rows are not supposed to sum to the total
When overlap mode is on, the sum of detail durations can exceed the report total. That is not a bug; shared minutes counted once by design. If you need independent event sums, turn the option off and own the implication.

Some clients pay for attendance in each meeting even when they overlap. Others pay for your scarce time once. Read the contract before you pick a default and forget it.

If double-booking is a mistake, clean the calendar. Overlap mode is for real collisions, not for hiding poor scheduling hygiene forever.
